You’ve Earned Your High School Diploma…But What’s Next?

Congratulations! Earning your high school diploma or GED is no small feat, but it may leave you with the uncomfortable question: “What do I do now?” Luckily, here at Tucson College, we are here to help answer that question and find a career that fits your personality and your goals.

The Tucson Difference

For over five decades, Tucson College has helped thousands of recently graduated high school students, just like yourself, begin new careers. Throughout that timeframe, we have cultivated and nurtured professional relationships with local businesses and the community. These relationships allow us to know exactly what employers are looking for and tailor our programs to teach those skills.  Our students graduate with the knowledge, experience and know-how to succeed in the workforce.

Many of our programs offer hands-on learning experiences with professionals in your field of study. By combing traditional classroom environments with lab courses, externships, and practicums, you will be prepared to enter the workforce and have the confidence necessary to succeed.

Our Graduate Placement Strategy

We understand that there are several options for technical schools in Arizona, but our Graduate Placement Strategy makes us stand above all the rest. Your journey from classroom to career will be guided by our Graduate Placement Strategy the same way your GPS guides you on the road.

Before you even begin your classes, you will receive the guidance you need in our New Student Orientation. There, you will meet current students, alumni, faculty, and staff members who will guide and support you throughout your journey. During your time at Tucson College, we will work with you to develop work samples, letters of recommendation, achievements, and awards to show employers how your knowledge and your experience will add value to their business.

Lifetime Career Assistance

After you graduate, we encourage you to use our Lifetime Career Assistance services. Throughout the rest of your career, you can seek the advice and assistance of our experienced professionals to best help you succeed. Here are some of the services we provide:

  • Résumé Updates
  • Mock Interviews
  • Job Leads
  • Career Readiness Workshops
  • Refresher Courses
