Tucson College Awarded Community Partner of 2014
Tucson, AZ (January 14, 2015) – On Friday, December 19, 2014, Tucson College was awarded the Community Partner of the Year Award by Fred G. Acosta Job Corps in appreciation of their service.
“We are honored to be recognized by Fred G. Acosta Job Corps for our partnership in changing the futures and lives of their clients and our students. The collaboration between Job Corps and Tucson College has allowed us to assist people back into the workforce, improving their lives and those of their family,” said Lloyd Kirsch, Campus Director at Tucson College.
“I have a comfort with Tucson College like no other school. They treat our students like family,” said Edward Dummitt, the Career Transition Services Specialist. “They have the students’ best interests at heart.”Phil LePeau, the Director of Admissions, and Petrea Davidson, the Community Outreach Specialist, were present at the Job Corps banquet on Friday night to receive the award.
