Whether you have your career mapped out or you’re unsure of where to begin, Tucson College has resources to help you define and reach your career goals. From helping you discover a career path to assisting with your job search, our Career Services Team will be there for you, providing help and support every step of the way.
Whether you’re a recent high school graduate, someone wanting to develop the skills needed for a lifelong career, a professional looking to advance in their career, or an active service member, our Student Services Department can help you succeed. Our Career Services team, Financial Services team and Externship Coordinators will all work hard to make sure you get the most out of your time at Tucson College.
Using our Graduate Placement Strategy (GPS), we can help you define or expand your career goals. If you don’t know which career path is best for you, you’ll have the option to take a career assessment called “Personality Profile: Understanding Yourself and Others.” This tool, used in conjunction you’re your Career Planning Session, can help you discover the career path that fits your personality and interests.
Our externship courses will provide you with practical, “on-the-job” training. You’ll get hands-on experience in your field, the chance to build relationships with people in your industry and a great addition to your résumé.
Our Externship Coordinator will work with you to choose an externship assignment that is related to your ideal job, ensuring you training will be in line with your career goals. To learn more about our externship courses, click here.

The Career Services Team at Tucson College is dedicated to finding job placements for our graduates. Our staff will provide you with individualized support, including application and interview preparation, job leads, volunteer opportunities and more.
With the assistance of your instructors we’ll also help you put together a career portfolio with your work samples, letters of recommendation and awards. You’ll be able to use this portfolio to highlight your skills and talents to potential employers. Visit our Career Services page for more information.
Lifetime Career Assistance
Our Career Services staff will provide you with job placement assistance for the entirety of your career. No matter what year you graduate, we’ll provide résumé updates, weekly job listings, networking opportunities and more. All you have to do is contact us – we’ll be ready to help.
